The Quest for Joost

I love technology. And I love testing new technology. So when I heard about Joost I had to try it. But wait! Oh no! It’s invite only. What a shame. But what to do? Google is your friend, I reminded myself as I started googleing for Joost invites and I stubled over this site. Brent Roos the title said, and I though “why not” and started reading his posts.

Of course, since it was trough google I found this site, and if was in the search for a Joost invite, the first post I read was this. “Wow” i though, “This is a perfect!”. This guy seems interesting enough so I started reading other posts made by this person which called himself Brent Roos. Sure enough I found other interesting articles, and fun ones too, like Don’t feed the trolls and How Google ruined YouTube. Even though I shared the same opinion when It came to the trolls, I do not think Google ruined or is going to ruin YouTube. But it’s all fun, and I left the site with a warm and happy feeling inside of me, and I won’t be surprised if I would find myself on Brent Roos’ site more often from now on.

I came back here to my ol’ blog and decided I would give the Joost invite competition a try. There’s lots of snow outside, and I am freezing, but I kept on writing my essay. After a faithful closed-betatester of programs like WLM and Messenger Discovery, and games like Cabal, M.A.N.2, and LotR TCG Online, and a open-betatester of a whole lot of programs, I couldn’t let this opportunity get away from me. I had to have Joost. So here is my essay to Brent Roos; “I hope ye will consider me for thy competition of the Joost invite. I will be truely grateful if you would grant me one. I thank thee.”

    I should be getting a bunch of invites real soon, as the Joost people have promised me. Don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten about you. You are for sure one of the first in line.

    I’m trying to be patient with the people at Joost, becasue I have promised you and a few others that I will invite them.

    So when they come, you will be one of the first to know.

    Hang in there dude! It will be worth the wait.

    I don’t have any invites as I DO NOT have Joost. Yet. And I wouldn’t hand them to people asking like that anyway. Invites has to be earned, just like I did to get an Gmail account when it was new. I had to make four signature and avatar pictures for a guy. And now this article up is to earn an invite from Brent.

    Believe me, when I get Joost and invites for Joost, I will make an article with guidelines on how to earn them!

    Thank you a thousand times, Brent! I now have a Joost account :D I R E N A E U S, I currently do not have any invites, I see, so for now there will not be any competition. But when I get be sure to come and participate. You can subscribe to my feed if you want to know when I get the invites. ;)
